The Cottage on Town Mountain offers the best of two worlds.
Privacy is provided in a setting of towering evergreens and
surrounding gardens. Every vantage offers beautiful views,
some of them spectacular vistas of distant mountains to the
south. Sunsets in the west often reflect off clouds to the
east that turn from crimson to pink.
Once you are at The Cottage, it is hard to believe that you
are just over two miles and five minutes from Asheville’s
bustling city center and all it has to offer. Excellent
restaurants with diverse cuisines, museums and art
galleries, cafes, coffee houses and bars with great
entertainment, theatre, antique stores and other unique
retailers, four independent booksellers, wine markets that
are the envy of visitors from much larger cities, and
outstanding architecture are minutes away from The Cottage.
So is the Blue Ridge Parkway, just five minutes up Town
Mountain in the other direction. The Folk Art Center is one
exit away on the Parkway. Located on land once owned by the
developer of the Grove Park Inn, The Cottage is just up the
mountain from that famed resort and a stones throw from the
North Carolina Governor’s Western Residence. |
