So is the Blue Ridge Parkway, just five minutes up Town Mountain in the other direction. The Folk Art Center is one exit away on the Parkway. Located on land once owned by the developer of the Grove Park Inn, The Cottage is just up the mountain from that famed resort and a stones throw from the North Carolina Governor’s Western Residence.
